Wow. That's totally inaccurate, but go ahead and just do zero research and take your small sample size to make your assumptions.

Only truth - no tournament in 20 years. We're the Buffalo Bills of the MVC!!

I said the exact same thing after the game yesterday. It's funny because it's true.

Lol I've been to a lot of MVC games in my lifetime and ILST is the only fanbase that consistently has obnoxious fans. There are plenty of good Redbird fans, but I've had more than my fair share of issues with the bad ones.

Illinois State fans are no where near as bad as Wichita fans (thank God), but quite a few of them can still be pretty classless at times.

Please spare us your empty rhetoric.

Curious why Wright State isn't in your poll?

I feel like our league is run by a bunch of people who have been there for decades and just have their way of doing things. They are uncomfortable taking a risk or thinking outside the box. That is why the league is still ten teams and is going to stay that way. That is why the tournament will always be in St. Louis no matter what other possibilities are out there. That is the way it has always been.

Two reasons: First, because the choices in this poll are based off the schools mentioned in an article by a very plugged in source. Wright State is not mentioned in that article. Second, because we are operating under the assumption that Murray State is locked in as the 11th team. Even if you rate NKU and Wright State as roughly equivalent NKU gets the nod because they make more sense as a travel partner for the Racers.

There are two Valley schools between Murray State and NKU/Wright State

Travel partners based upon geography:

Drake/UNI
Loyola/Valpo
Bradley/ISUr
NKU/ISUb
Murray State/Evansville
SIU/Missouri State.

It is only around 5 miles farther from ISUb to Wright State than it is to NKU.

This is not about NKU versus Wright state being the travel partner for ISUb. It's about Murray State or ISUb being the travel partner for NKU/Wright State (whichever is selected). Why would Murray State be the travel partner for NKU/Wright State when ISUb is 140 miles closer to NKU than Murray State is and 155 miles closer to Wright State? Murray State will be the travel partner with Evansville and ISUb will be the travel partner for NKU/Wright State.
