Great game by Drake. Always a hard place for the Aces to get a win at. All the travel problems didn't help.

WTF was up with Marty leaving his starters in after Drake emptied their bench in the last few minutes? Game really wasn't as close as the final score, but it sure allowed UE's star player to pad his stats in garbage time.

Marty never, ever takes the starters out when losing. And usually not when blowing out a SWAC team either.

Watching a couple DVRs...

Two Redbird possessions with 3:00 to go are befuddling. One was a Gassman TO for a slam dunk and the other a Gassman 3 with :20 on the shot clock. That late in the game, the ball needs to be in Y/F/E’s hands and Gassman should be clearing space for them. Good coaching by Hinson to force the ball elsewhere.

Salukis erase 14 point deficit with 7.5 left to win. Barry adjusted well.

Love ESPN replaying the Bryce/Ali shots and their Pickford rebounding special during Valpo/UNI.

So Jacobson sent a message and didn’t start Koch. And Koch posts 2/1 while freshman Phyfe posts 20/8. Wow!

Sycamores erase 11 point deficit in just a few minutes to take the lead at JQH with 2 to go.

Thanks. It made no sense to me why he still had his top players in the game in a last 2-3 minutes of a blowout loss. You're not going to make a comeback, and there's always that slight chance of somebody getting hurt....especially against the other team's end-of-bench guys, who sometimes play a little crazy.
