Were you there, or just going by what you saw on TV? I was real impressed with how "into" the game the crowd was.

Aces trying their best to lay an L in Peoria. Bradley has had scoring runs of 16-0 and 11-2. But Aces somehow are only down by 8.

Bradley takes down Evansville fairly easily tonight. That is 12 straight home wins for the Braves if you include last season. Much different outcome the the game at Evansville. Bradley quickly built a 10 point lead. Evansville made it close and then Bradley went on 10-0 run to finish the half. Also scored 1st 6 points of 2nd half. Evansville got it to 5 points twice but never really threatened too bad.
Hell of a game by DLO. HeHelpd Taylor scoreless till about 5 minutes into the 2nd half. He added 12 points 9 boards and 4 assists as well.

I was able to watch portions of Indy St.’s road win in Evansville and blowout of Ill. St. Indy St. is playing like they’ve figured things out! Don’t know if they can sustain it for the entire remainder of the season, but, at this moment, they are the best team in the conference. Hitting on ALL cylinders! Glad DU isn’t playing them this week.

DU with a big victory! (but didn’t play their best.)

Went to 3 games yesterday:

ISUr @ ISUb - These alien abduction replacements for the Sycamores are pretty good! Surprised how many people attended this game (strong red contingent as well). Fans are so dispersed throughout the upper bowl that I wonder if the big crowd translated through tv. Hopefully the Hulman reno demo’s all those old seats in the upper bowl and fills the ends and corners with suites/clubs/patios.

SEMO @ EIU - Spoonhour...will not replace Lusk at MSU. That said anyone who can take EIU for an Illini ass whooping can coach. EIU curtaining off one end of the upper deck and turning the other into a patio has greatly improved its atmosphere from years ago.

UE @ BU - Carver was rocking. Braves are 2 different worlds home and away. Bradley and Drake now 18-0 at home.

Excited for Loyola/Valpo. Loyola brought a few hundred scarves to Milwaukee so hopefully they can replicate it in Valpo. ARC usually delivers a good environment for national tv games.

Petty complaint: seeing Evansville’s rep be Blake Simmons in every Arch Madness promo or pamphlet.

Congrats on the win Bulldog fans. Neither team played well but you were the tougher team yesterday. Your new coach sure has made all the difference.

Bradley is the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team this year on the road versus at home. After getting crushed by 24 at Evansville, they win by 13 in Peoria. While attendance isn't what it was 12 years ago, the announced crowd of 6,285 is promising as this team continues to win at home. Bradley looks to make it 13 in a row at home on Tuesday against the Bears.

Evansville will take your Jekyll and Hyde claim and raise....oh never mind..we are quickly becoming just Hyde, or whichever one sucked.

Evansville fans traveled so well to Cancun. Pete Gillen couldn’t stop raving about it on the broadcasts. Seems based on the Cancun travel many are boycotting home games and the right hire will reactivate the fan base.

I don't think so. Just because there were a few dozen wealthy Aces fans who could afford to travel to Cancun does not imply there are thousands of "inactive" fans just waiting for Keno Davis to sign on the dotted line before they purchase their season tickets.

Also consider, the non-conference season started better than any of us expected, so there was a certain air of optimism in Cancun. I think that's gone now.
