Bradley takes it to Missouri State in Peoria, 72-52. Alize picked up 2 fouls within the first 90 seconds and never was able to get really anything going.

Braves and Missouri State now tied for 4th place in the conference pending the other games tomorrow night. Big win for Bradley as they continue to dominate at home. I guess I can see why Lusk is on the hot seat, even with a very solid roster.

Childs: 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Thomas: 13 points and 7 rebounds.

I'm just glad our non-conference schedule had nothing to do with preparing us for the preseason favorites last night!
Then again, just imagine the beatdown had we played a much tougher NC schedule!

I don't follow it closely. Is the consensus at MSU that Lusk is a bad coach? The Bradley board seems to have agreement that he is a terrible coach.

This quip may become as dreaded as the old "vote of confidence".
So Lusk is contracted through 2019. I assume he's not getting fired?

Irrelevant.
You played a HOME game (I believe the noncon schedules prep teams better for tough road games for which you are winless). You also played against the most incompetent coach in the Valley AND Alize was sidelined a huge chunk of the game with fouls.

This argument is a joke and you keep adding it to your agenda.

Enjoy your win, but the ultimate goal is to make the NCAAs...it was all about Arch Madness for Bradley (and everyone else at this point) due to your noncon schedule.

Is there any thought as to why Bradley is so bad on the road? I get that most teams don't play as strong but the difference is pretty crazy from what i've seen.

The problem is we turtle when the shots aren't falling on the road and that leads to road blowouts. we had 15 assists to only 5 turnovers last night, by far our best effort of the season. We would have beaten them at full strength last night by double digits. Ive never understood why a team we tied in the standings with and everyone back was picked 1st and we were picked 7th. just a ridiculous ranking by almost all prognosticators. MSU is a good team but nowhere near as good as Loyola, who I expect to win the league going away. Until BU learns to take a road punch and respond, we will be in the middle of the standings. Hopefully that starts at the trees on Sunday.
