It's all the marbles week in the Valley, and there will be plenty of high intensity hoop action in each and every MVC battle game...cool
Pack your bags Valley fans because we're on the way leading up to the expressway that goes directly to what looks to be an absolute wild and wooly Arch Madness. Here goes on the final regular season picks:
Tue-
Crusaders > UNI...toss up, but Valpo is definitely showing some late season spark
Wed-
Sycamores > UE...Battle of Indiana with ISU coming out of the scrum earning a razor close W
Bears > BU....tough week for MSU last time out, so they'll want to right the ship and it's BU on the road
Redbirds> DU...if ISU gets Fayne back, Redbirds have a shot at the W. Should be quite a game either way
Ramblers > SIU...changed my mind on this one more than a couple of times as SIU could pull this one out
Sat-
Ramblers > ISU...LUC looks to close strong at home, but think a full strength ISU team will be a tough battle
Aces > SIU...think they're be a couple upsets on the last day of regular season action and this could be one
Bulldogs > VU....DU needs this one and Valpo has had a tough go of it in Valley roadies
Braves > ISU....BU has be excellent at Carver, and the Sycamores have been all over the board this season
Panthers > MSU....my second upset pick of the day as UNI earns an oh-so-close home W over the Bears
You can just tell by watching the Valley games that the on court intensity level is rising to fever pitch for all of the MVC teams. It should be all-out pandemonium at Arch Madness as I'm sure each and every team thinks they have a legitimate shot to win the Valley crown in St. Lou. The way this season continues to play out....who knows which team will win it all and punch their ticket to the Big Dance. Looking forward to these last 2 rounds of MVC play, and I have no doubt that this week there will be a ton of fans watching ESPN to catch all the sheer madness across the Valley...YES!!
