AS a saluki fan --I still think Moser deserves the Coach of the Year award--and will most certainly get it. But here's an opposing view from the SIU school newspaper.

Any other candidates (ie, Drake coach) out there?

A tossup in my mind between Moser and either Hinson or Medved (whichever team finishes in second place).

I say Medved, but Moser is a super close 2nd. Medved had pretty low expectations and Drake has become a legit possible winner of Arch Madness. If you think Moser, I get it, but I really think the argument is between Moser and Medved. Barry is 3rd for me.

I'm a millennial who thinks everyone deserves a trophy. Therefore, I nominate Marty Simmons as coach of the year.

In my opinion it has to be Medved. How can it not be? Preseason #10 and probably a 3 seed (potentially 2) for Arch Madness! Moser is my runner up. 3rd place to Barry.
