Marty set the standard that Lusk followed for keeping a job years longer than you should have. Schedule as weak as possible to rack up 10-11 OOC wins so when you only get 7 or 8 conference wins and win one or two conference tourney games after being a PIG team you can go "Yeah, but we are winning 20 games"

Hinson is the master at crap schedules, he has been a head coach for 17 years by playing the weakest schedule's possible.  Funny thing was Hinson even complemented Marty for his schedule.

Got around to watching the presser. Party like it’s 1999. What an energetic atmosphere. Meeks looked packed.

(On another note, it’s hilarious watching intro pressers just to see the sheer amount of old people in the audience )

Ryan Taylor is going to pursue his master degree and basketball future at Northwestern. Great school. Not many MVC players get the chance to end their careers in the Big10. Good luck Ryan.

I couldn't imagine a better school for Ryan. Expectations aren't that overwhelming, and he may get more playing time than other P5 schools.

Walter McCarty just hired a heck of a coaching staff to join him at Evansville:

1. Todd Lickliter (Assistant) - former head coach at Butler and Iowa + NBA scout

2. Matthew Graves (Assistant) - former head coach at South Alabama + long-time assistant coach at Butler (Thad Matta and Brad Stevens)

3. Terrence Commodore (Assistant) - former assistant coach at Eastern Kentucky

4. Logan Baumann (DOBO)
