Coach Dana Ford has announced his staff at MSU. He has retained Corey Gipson, who was associate HC under Paul Lusk. He's added Jake Headrick, who's been an assistant at Samford the past 5 seasons, Jace Herl, who's been at Colorado State and assumed interim HC duties after Eustacy was let go. Sheldon Everett is the new DBO, and was recently an assistant coach at Miami of Ohio.

Love this staff; young , energetic, history of being excellent recruiters, some juco backgrounds. Herl was a "30 under 30 " designee as one of the top young assistants in basketball.

Looks like HC Ford has hit the ground running. It'll be interesting to see what HC Ford can do with the talent at MSU. Have a suspicion that the Bears may be surprising good this coming season which would even further the Valley's ascent up college hoops conference rankings....YES! 8-)

ROCK ON VALLEY!

Not much talent there at the moment, but at least some expereinced role players in Dixon, Church, Kreklow. Scurry looks likely to leave. Do have Ridder as a rs frosh, Lawrence, who played down the stretch, and a couple rs in Byrd/Scott, plus top 40 incoming juco forward Mohammed. But talent other than Ridder will have to be signed this spring. Currently have offered a combination of about 4 jucos, 5 grad transfers, and a couple unsigned frosh. Need at least 4 to say yes. The names reflect some quality, but a lot of ifs and moving parts.
