Tommy Bell who had been AD the past few years--and recently had a situation with Head Coach Barry Hinson is out--Jerry Kill former head football Coach at SIU, NIU and Minnesota is AD for now --for as long as he wants I suspect.

I wonder if the incident a month ago played a role with the SalukiNation doxxing & meltdown, posters getting reported to the school, SIU investigating employees, etc. It’s clear from this newsletter Tommy Bell was publicly on the opposite side the school wanted him to be on politically.

You aren't far off, but The Southern essentially confirmed a lot of the message board chatter today.

But if Barry was the one who had Bell fired, isn't that giving a lot of power to a head coach that hasn't made an NCAA Tournament? If anyone has the power to get an AD fired at SIU, my first guess would be Greg Cook, not Barry.

The good news is that Jerry Kill is the most respected person at SIU right now. I just hope he is given autonomy to make the right decisions. If not, things will only get more dark and ugly.

...Barry Hinson does that himself. He is literally one of the worst recruiters in college basketball, especially at the mid major level.

Lol. A one dimensional JUCO who other programs had backed off of because there questions about his elgibility or already recruited over. Bol would also be a 10 to 15 minute reserve on any decent mid major because of his limitations offensively and the fact that he can't guard without fouling. Solid rebuttal underdawg.
