KENPOM PROGRAM RANKING 1997-Present

Interesting ranking using his system and historical data, he ranks all D-1 programs top to bottom from 1997
[ I'm assuming that's as early as he had data on] thru last year. Top 10 no real surprises:
1 Duke
2 Kentucky
3 Kansas
4 North Carolina
5 Arizona
6 Michigan state
7 Villanova
8 Louisville
9 Florida
10 Texas [ bit of a surprise there]

Top Mid Major program was Gonzaga at #12, the next best was VCU at #73, San Diego St at #74, St Mary's at 76 and Dayton at 79.

The current MVC went:

UNI @ 90
Illinois St @ 103
Missouri State @ 106
SIU @ 107
Valpo @ 115
Bradley @ 132
Indiana St @ 138
Evansville @139,
Loyola @ 152
Drake @ 161

Not really a bad showing and obviously if you went back another 10 years, things would move a round a bit as the 2000's have been UNI's heyday while SIU and others were pretty good in the 90's. Some other interesting rankings had former Valley members Creighton @ 44, WSU @ 56. For Missouri natives like myself MU was at 45, SLU @ 93. For the Murray State bandwagon they were at 114, or if in the Valley, the #5 school just ahead of Valpo.
