What little I know about DeVries' situation, I expect him to miss more games.

That's really scary. Hope nothing but the best for him.

According to radio, Tucker cut his elbow in the Indiana State game and it developed into a staff infection. Antibiotics are working well, but it's extremely unlikely he'll play Wednesday and while missing more games is likely, he should be back long before Arch Madness.

For future reference, do you all prefer Southwest Missouri State or Mizzou State? :D

You may want to call them good sports and/or gentlemen for demonstrating to the Murray fans the proper way to exit the host team’s floor after a loss. Just a suggestion.

Sorry to get in the middle of the Murray State-SIU pissing match, but Missouri State is the only team I've seen this year that showed a complete lack of class exiting the court.

Obviously you don't watch your own team much; so sad when you have to be a butt sore loser . Your coach and star whiney baby are in the officials and our players ears all night whining and crying. Also please go back to Reed Timmers antic's at MSU after a Drake win a few years ago.

SW Misery State, aka the wannabe Suck Belters that got pushed all around the football field by most of the MVFC.

Butt hurt boy is back, talking smack with no skin in the game. What a pathetic troll you are.

Missouri State didn't have anything to worry about since:

1) Murray beats them on a regular basis .... unlike Siu beating Murray..
2) Murray players weren't mouthing the whole game trying to stir it up or stepped on a defensive player on the floor.
3) Half of the Murray State student body wasn't on the floor at the end of the game.
4) We didn't have a January 6h protester cussing their players out when they left the floor.
5) And the administration at Murray State has adequate security, etc.

There is a proper way to lose. There is also a proper way to win. SIU needs a lot of work in that area......

No dog in your SIU war, but uhmm winning 2 games isn't "beats them on a regular basis" . The MSU series is 1-2 with both teams winning all the home games.

Staph infection can take a week or up to a month. He should be back well before Arch Madness but it may not be until like mid FEB. He also won't be able to do any practicing, which is obviously a big hit this late in the season. Hopefully back in plenty of time to be back up to full strength by Arch Mandess.

When you spend your time with Dana and Mac that's going to happen.

Tucker is as bad as I've seen with going to officials at EVERY. SINGLE. WHISTLE.

Talk about a crazy weekend to tighten everything back up in the Valley. Look at these standings:
9-3 - Belmont, SIU
8-4 - Bradley, Drake, UNI
7-5 - Ind. St, Murray, MSU
4-8 - Valpo, Ill St.
1-11 - UIC
0-12 - Evansville

And look at these games on Wednesday, both leaders have to go on the road against tough opponents:
SIU @ Bradley
Belmont @ Murray
UIC @ Ill St.
Valpo @ MSU
Ind St. @ Evansville
UNI @ Drake

Very likely scenario where we'll have a 4 way tie for 1st based and 4 more will be one game back. What a crazy year.

Some team is going to get a bye to Friday with 13 wins while another team with 13 wins will be playing a dangerous ILL ST team. I don't think seeding even matters at this point, everyone will just hope to get match ups they like.

I have zero desire to play Illinois State a 3rd time. They play so hard and if he can get some better talent to buy in to playing that hard, they're going to get good quick.

I think matchups are everything in a league like this with no dominant teams. Some teams are just better/worse match ups vs other teams depending on personnel regardless of league standings. Add the fact most games are being played in the 50-60's , and there just isn't much separation , standings or game to game.
