A few things -

One - it was dumb for him to say what he did.
Two - he had 10 points in the second half against UNI. That’s not a nothing half.
Three - he got triple teamed a ton by the Sycs. He did have five assists
Four - he also didn’t demand the ball and step up in the last two games overall.

Drake was awesome today. Just awesome. Awesome all tournament.

The pressure to win for that group today was immense. They start two 25 year old guards. Think about that. And a 24 year old Center. That’s an NBA aged team.

After not winning each of the last two seasons the Bulldogs had to win today. To have that old group PLUS Ticker and NOT win one of the two MVC Titles - that would have been a failure.

But they got it done. Good for them.

The two best teams played on the last day of the regular season for the title and one team won. Then the other team won in the league tournament.
