It was looking good for ISU, but a 9-minute drought without a FG did them in.

Deceiving 87-75 final. I imagine a game in March on a neutral court wouldn’t see Avila a non-factor picking up 4 fouls early.

Xavier Johnson with 31 in a win over UIC. Probably his "worst" game of the year but came through at the end with a final run. Can't believe how good he's been this year.

Coach Yak’s coaching decisions are quite frustrating. You’ve got a 6’1 guard (Xavier Johnson). Nobody else is sent to double him to make him give the ball up. We’ve got a 6’4”/6’5” PG(Christian Jones), a 6’8” guard (Toby Okani), a 6’8” F (Brownell) who all could’ve taken Johnson in the post. Get him in foul trouble or at the least, make him work hard on the defensive end. Make others beat us. I’m trying my best to get him out of the game. Toby Okani may be a shot blocker, but the guy commits at least two offensive fouls and two to three regular turnovers a game. Coach Yak has seemingly no interest in developing a post game.

My Flames may truly revert to the 10th place team in the conference. It’ll just be our luck that Murray puts together another “W” by walking all over us.

Trees game was very exciting to watch. Trees really get after you on defense and if they are hitting the 3 ball they will be very very tough to beat. With UE being short handed on Wednesday the Trees should win by 20 plus

Racers looked much better in their 21-point win over MTSU. While it doesn't mean the Racers are back, it will be interesting to see if they can carry that momentum forward against UIC.
