I will reiterate what I mentioned many posts ago.

With Schertz and his starting five certainly gone; Devries, Devries, Brody, and company gone at Drake, Belmont losing their top 3 players, Mullins and SIU would have been a projected top team in the Valley this year. Such a shame.

News today..?

Hearing anything? Very little reliable information coming out of SIU.

SIU was losing 2 starters including Xavier Johnson. They would have been in the same boat as everyone else. And if we need everyone in the Valley to collapse and win a trash conference, then they don’t have the right coach to begin with

What SIU needs is defense first, grind it out guy. No doubt.

Amen. Enough of these explosive offense guys. It's time SIU tried something new.

Let's just say Agents are greedy and very difficult to work with. Granted, they are looking out for their clients, which is understandable. Agents advise their coaches to be "patient" and see how the domino effect plays out. I'd do the same as their agent, but it's frustrating as an SIU fan.

The administration thought they had the Spradlin deal and a handshake agreement on Saturday/Sunday (March 15/16). They just had to work out the contract, which was essentially done on Monday, March 17th.

Is Spradlin not an option now? If not any clue to where this search is ?

I think there might be a decision today and I wouldn’t rule out any candidate that might have previously moved on. So maybe Spradlin is in play again based on what So Ill is referring to?
