Kellen Thornton leaving Illinois State

Always tough to lose a player but, Ekey and Wilkins give us hope for a bright future at the 3-4 spot.

Birds can't really afford to lose much experienced depth with some size. Those best develop quickly.

Wilkins..... (just a guess)

I think they want to play Wilkins as much as possible when he is eligable as well as a few other younger guys.

No one really knows... Some assume during their pre-season meetings that Kellen assumed or was told that he was probably going to be hurting for PT and So. John Wilkins and (RS)Fr. Jon Ekey have leaped him at the 3/4 spot...

Yes. He did start classes this semester.
