Just wanted to start a newbie. Bears play SLU, Utah and Oklahoma, in that order, at home this weekend.

Bulldogs have a tourney at home this weekend....the competition doesn't seem to be great. If DU can win all 4 matches, that will put them at 13-0.

not the most challenging OOC schedule out there, but congrats on being undefeated thus far.

Oh, I know the schedule hasn't been real challenging, but for a school who's volleyball team commonly won only 5-10 games per season recently, I'll take it!

DU, we're in the same boat at Indiana State, the VB team is currently 6-3 after winning over St. Francis this morning in the Akron Invite. ISU has been dreadful the past few seasons and doesn't have the most daunting OOC schedule this year, but they're winning. Not like Drake, but ISU having a winning record at this point is good for the program and the MVC, no matter who they're playing.

I see the Redbirds beat Texas Tech today.
Which brings the MVC's record against the Big 12 this year to 5-3. Not too bad

In its second home tourney in two weeks, Bears beat SLU 3-1, Utah 3-2, lost to Oklahoma 1-3. Could not close out sets against OU, up in every one near the end. Finding their way, get to start Valley play next week @ UNI.

conference play starting off with a bang, with the preseason top 3 facing off (MSU@UNI, WSU@UNI)

I can see either MSU or WSU stubbing their toe against SIU, Creighton or Drake on the road (hell, even at home). Don't want to say UNI is in another league for sure, but they certainly appear to be the top team in the league once again.
