Evansville's Lady Aces beat Bowling Green 63-62 to win their opener. Lady Aces beat a BG team that went to the NCAA's last season, and had everybody back from that team including 4 senior starters. The Lady Aces won just 4 games last season. They will win more than 4 this year, and will not finish last in the Valley. They only have one senior on the team.

I see where this same Bowling Green team just beat Creighton by 26 points Monday night. Hopefully it's a good sign that the Aces program has improved significantly since last year.
