NCAA track championship meet

the meet starts today in Oregon! 27 MVC athletes will vie for NCAA titles, today and tomorrow the meet is on espn3, Friday and Saturday it's on ESPNU, tune in!

next result for the MVC, the Indiana State women were in the 4 x 100 meter relay, but dropped the baton between exchange 2 and 3, so they won't advance.
Missouri State's women's 4 x 100 meter relay team placed 20th in 46.00 and did not advance

in the women's 100, Indiana State sophomore Katie Wise did not advance to the finals, placing 14th overall in 11.36, earning 2nd team all american honors.

day 3 results for the MVC women
women's triple jump
Robiann Broomfield from Missouri State placed 22nd, going 41-00.5", earning honorable mention all american.
women's heptathlon
Paige Knodle from Northern Iowa placed 4th in the Heptathlon! Earning 1st team all american honors! 5681 points.

Awesome meet for the MVC Champion Paige Knodle, moving up 10 spots today to take that 4th place spot. Set a school record in the 100 m hurdles yesterday and her overall score puts her 2nd all-time for UNI. Really excited to see her next year as a senior.
