Panthers should be very solid, but some tough teams again in the non-conference schedule this year.

This could be the year for the Panthers to get seeded if they can survive most of those and another tough MVC slate of teams.

No doubt, UNI is the team to beat coming off a 31-3 year and having almost everyone back

If UNI wins 4 of those 6 tough matches, that would have to be considered very successful imo, esp with 5 of them being on the road. 3-3 would be OK even. But to move to the next level, you're right, gotta show something in these Big Ten/Big Twelve and ND games.

Bears have potential to be dramatically better this year than last, with the new incoming kids the depth, flexibility and talent's improved.

Bears have a strong home non-conf schedule this year, bringing in Ohio, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, St Louis, and Utah, all Top 35 or better teams last year.

UNI ranked 24th in the first poll.

Big weekend to kick off the MVC VB season. UNI gets its next two contenders on its home floor. If they beat them both they get a solid start on a repeat. If they lose either game, they will be on their heals against the winner the rest of the season....
