Petranoff places 9th in the women's Javelin and will not make the olympic team.

Indiana State's Kylie Hutson competes in the pole vault today to try to earn her spot in Rio.

WSU's Kellyn Taylor (Johnson) competes in the women's 5000 final

Indiana State's Kylie Hutson misses at 15-01 and will place 7th in the women's pole vault.

So the MVC women will be represented in Rio by SIU's Deanna Price and Indiana State's Felisha Johnson.

The MVC has another olympian, this one from Canada, Missouri State's Marissa Kurtimah will be running for Canada on the 4 x 100 relay team!

the MVC has another female olympian, Aisha Praught (who ran for Illinois State) has made the Jamaican olympic team in the steeplechase. She was the only one entered in the steeple at the Jamaican only trials, so they didn't make her run and she was named to the olympic team
