Valley Women's Basketball?

Of course I am fairly new here, but I was kind of suprised at the lack of conversation about women's basketball which to me is as enjoyable or more so than the men's game. It's been a fun season so far, but for some reason people just don't seem to be as interested in it as they should. Anyhow, MSU and UNI both have really good teams and I'm looking forward to some highly competitive battles the rest of the year.

Hasn't UNI won it's last 3 games by at least 35-40 points?

If one of those were against WSU it doesn't count. That team is horrid.

During the 6 game win streak:

01/06/11 vs. Missouri State TV Cedar Falls, Iowa W, 80-69
01/08/11 vs. Wichita State Cedar Falls, Iowa W, 59-49
01/13/11 at Creighton Omaha, Neb. W, 58-57
01/15/11 at Drake TV Des Moines, Iowa W, 89-51
01/21/11 vs. Evansville Cedar Falls, Iowa W, 69-37
01/23/11 vs. Southern Illinois Cedar Falls, Iowa W, 79-39

That is an average of 22ppg

Going just off of the last 3 it is 37ppg

Over the course of the season UNI is +10 ppg

DU having a down year compared to what they've been used to.

Not just this year, but the program itself has dropped quite a bit since Stevens became coach.

MSU got blown out at CU last night. UNI stands alone at the top.

Indiana State beat Drake last night, but I can't remember the score. ISU is now 4-4 in the MVC.
