I spent the weekend in Omaha/Council Bluffs. I have to say, Omaha's downtown is impressive. But what's with the pedestrian bridge linking the Quest to a run down Council Bluffs neighborhood? It's a pretty bridge, but I'm not sure I understand why it is there.
The zoo was fantastic and it looks like the new baseball stadium is progressing nicely.

Posted: September 21st, 2010, 6:20 pmThe pedestrian bridge is a multi-million dollar waste of federal money. Council Bluffs is supposedly developing a park and stuff on the other side. It does look nice on a postcard, though. Thanks for building it for us!
