The Shocker are probably very much in the mix for Perry Ellis and their chances to get him have recently increased.

The recent news on Perry has made me quite happy. I know nothing is guaranteed, but it sounds as though we are very much in the picture and that's all I can ask for. For him to give us a serious look and consider the possibilities. I don't want to see him end up at Kansas. If we can't get him, I hope he leaves the state.

The latest rumor on DeWitt is that he did not get a release, will not file an appeal, and will honor his commitment.
