They're all suspect. They're recruits. That's the nature of the game.

M'thinks you say one thing in one post and then the opposite in another.

Ah, I will try and explain myself.

If a highly touted recruit (4* and 5*) choses your school then go ahead and boast; not because there is a guarantee that he will be a star but because your school scored a major recruiting victory on the national scene.

With that being said, there are NO absolutes. The only guarantee is that there isn't one.

I wouldn't consider anyone in the year's MVC class to be a "highly touted recruit" but some will be stars.

I find it funny that we now have a 5 page thread on a young man who isn't very highly regarded on the national scene (yet).

Bingo.

Exactly what I said. CU fans were more excited for the "spurning" of WSU than for getting the kid themselves.

So it's more about the rivalry and less about the actual player?

Judging by posts on this board and on the BJ motherboard, I'd say yes, which is unfortunate.

Did you say the "r" word? You know that word is forbidden around BJ fans! :o

I heard Matty P was planning on themes for every game. From what I understand, the checkerboard is for real, as is something for Southern Illinois.

Why do people listen to him? Better yet, why am I commenting, it just makes him feel more important.

Matty P. also invented Gatorade, the Cotton Gin and Roller Derby. We all owe Matty a great deal of gratitude.

No, that was Al Gore. But Matty P did invent the diode, the printed circuit and the computer chip. He also gave Bill Gates the idea for Microsoft.
