Eric Bossi says we got Williams, the 6'2 combo guard from Douglas High in Oklahoma City. Bears were really coveting Dorrian and he makes #3 in the current recruiting class. Now if we can add the athletic post player we want, this will have been a great class for ZO and staff.

He says he's a scoring point guard and athletic.

"Buffalo, Northwestern State, Stephen F. Austin, Citadel and Missouri State have done in homes," said the three-star guard. "Boston College and Creighton are also on my list."

This quote came before Creighton got the Chatman verbal.

Sounds like a solid player who starts on a championship team, always a good thing to get kids who are winners.

We're excited; his HS team, Douglas, will play in our Tournement of Champions[ as will CU recruit Dingman's Branson squad] this January. So we get to see him against some great HS comp for about 3-4 games in January. It's a great tourney and we usually get to see some of the best HS talent in the nation, most recently players like Cousins,Monroe,Wall, Walker etc.

Dorrian appears a perfect fit for Zo's system, he's 6'2 but long armed, can play either guard position and gets after it defensively. We have a couple 6'8-6'9 athletic posts we're trying to sign and still are in the running on a couple highly ranked wings for our final 2 scholys. But with Kirk/Wilson/Williams all on board it's been a good recruiting class for ZO.

Buffalo, NW State, Citadel and Stephen F. Austin aren't exactly a "who's who"of college hoops but sometimes that stuff rarely matters.

Rated #3 player in the state, and the coaches made him a priority. At this point, I'll trust the coaches because they've done a fairly good job of identifying players who fit their system.
