Bradley Commit - 6-7 F - Elijah Childs

Postby tribecalledquest » October 2nd, 2016, 11:54 am

This kind of came out of nowhere but Bradley got a commitment today from 6-7 PF Elijah Childs from Lee's Summit West near KC. He is a lefty. All state player in Missouri.

Any WSU or MSU fans know anything about him?

Had offers from Indiana State, SLU, and Northern Kentucky.

Saw a quote from the young man that said Wichita wanted him to go to prep school, so I'd say there was some interest there. We'll have a number of 'ships available for '18, but currently have none for '17. I have no idea how serious Wichita was. Don't know if they were promising him a spot in '18 or if they felt he needed a little more time to be evaluated and maybe wanted to see him against stronger competition.

It's interesting for Bradley as this currently puts them now 2 players over the scholarship limit for next year. We have no seniors this year, and now two commits from the state of Missiouri.
