Mosley verballs to MIssouri State

Postby BEARZ77 » March 17th, 2019, 6:19 pm

One day after teaming with RocK Bridge fellow seniors Ja'Monta Black and Dujuan Harris,to lead Rock Bridge to the Mo.large school state title, Isiaih Mosley has decided to join them and verballed to the Missouri State Bears. Mosley a 6'6 wing averaged 22ppg shooting 57% fg, 87% ft, and 46% 3pt. This is a great get for Ford and Missouri State. That gives the Bears 3 of the top 6 rated players in Missouri for the 2019 recruiting class, and Ja'Monta Black isn't too far down the list .

Going into last summer, Mosley was the highest rated , was as high as #120ish in some services. However, he fell a bit and Freeman and Harris both rose . At the start of this season 247 Sports/Scout had the following for Missouri:
1] McKinney {MU}
2]Freeman {MSU}
3]Mosley {MSU}
4] Leech {Iowa St]
5] Harris {MSU}
6] Collins {SLU}

Most recently it looked like this :
1] McKinney
2] Harris
3]Collins
4] Mosley
5 Leech
6]Freeman [ Freeman missed most of the year with a knee injury/surgery]

I think a healthy Freeman is the most physically gifted . I think Harris may be the most important because true pgs are so rare. But Mosley is very skilled , his midrange game is really good and he's so smooth. I think that plays against him some in ratings because he doesn't wow ya above the rim a lot[ although he's athletic enough for sure] but he's an extremely efficient scorer . Freeman makes the "oh my gosh" plays. Black who gets overlooked a lot, is a solid 6'4 ,made 78 treys and shot 46% from 3 . Of course there's also Gaige Primm who might be juco national player of the year depending on how his team does at Hutch. Talent won't be an issue for the Bears , but still a lot of moving parts and we have to see what Ford does with a full complement.
