Bears get 2023 Verbal

Donovan Lebron Hunter, a 6'8 junior from Westerville Ohio's Central HS has given a verbal to Coach Dana Ford and MSU. Hunter had offers from George Washington,Old Dominion, Ohio, Kent State, Toledo and Arizona State . Comes from an athletic family as dad played football at Bowling Green and his brother is a sophomore defensive end for Purdue.Has a nice outside stroke for a big kid his age. Might be our first recruit from Ohio. Anyway with a pair of 6'7 verbals in the 2022 class and now this one for 2023, Ford's been busy building his front court for the future.

Hunter has decommitted from Missouri State and reopened up his recruitment. Looks like he is going P5.

That hurts. Maybe the Sun Belt isn't attractive enough?

Always good to get support from the leagues lower half fan bases.

Hunter signs with Kent, after visiting Kent, Dayton and Cincinnati . Obviously decided he wanted to play close to home in Ohio.
