Bradley got a commitment from Almar Atlason - a 6-8 forward from Iceland who played for Sunrise Christian this past year. Sunrise was loaded with talent as usual. Atlason put up huge numbers in the FIBA U18 championships when Iceland played in the B Division.

Atlason recently played in the FIBA Europe U-20 Championships, in the "A" division (the better national teams).

For the tournament, Atlason averaged 17.1 points (3rd highest in the event), 6.1 rebounds (15th), 2.9 assists (24th), 1.3 steals (30th). Hit 35.5% from 3 (22-62). On the downside, he also had the most TOs in the tournament (4.7 per game), and he hit just 21 of 34 FTs (61.8%).

Iceland couldn't match the depth of many other "A" division sides. They were in a group with France, Germany and Slovenia. They opened the tournament with a win over Slovenia, had a tough 2-point loss against Germany, and then got blown out against France, but the coach kept the Iceland starters out of most of the France contest to save them for the classification round. They competed against Greece (eventual semifinalist) in the round of 16. In the consolation bracket, they beat Macedonia comfortably, but lost to Italy and then lost to Slovenia in the 11th place game. But the squad secured "A" division status for the next U20 Championship.

Atlason isn't really a PG, but he was the main PG for Iceland in the tournament, which got exposed and the main reason for the TO numbers.
