I lost a lot of friends that day and some other friends were horribly injured and disfigured for the rest of their lives.
While there is no direct relationship between that day and WSU's dropping football, I have to think that the will of Shocker FB supporters was destroyed that day. When supporting a football program requires remembering friends lost in a horrible accident, supporting that program becomes more difficult.
To my friends who were lost that day - you are not forgotten. To the families who lost their sons and brothers - your family members were outstanding representatives of your family and WSU. They will live in our memories.
