Rankings updated.

MSU is back to "Others Receiving Votes"...

Do you think the Bears can win out and put themselves in the at-large discussion?

two of their last three are on the road (including playing @UNI), and they haven't won a road game yet this year.

So I'm putting my money on "no".

No way the Bears win out, I think they could possibly beat SDSt Saturday, but winning @ UNI? Small small chance

the past two trips to Cedar Falls by the Bears have resulted in them getting outscored by a total of 80-7.

I can't see Indiana State winning out because we have to go to SIU and Youngstown State, and we haven't won a road game in quite some time. I think we have a shot to beat UNI since we are unbeaten at home, and we starting to get larger crowds at Memorial Stadium now.

I'm sure the Panther players will be totally intimidated by the 5500 people in attendance.

That would be a shot. Wish I could disagree, but I cannot.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I think a UNI win is by any means a lock.
If the Panthers succomb to the turnover woes that the had early in the year, a Sycamore win is certainly a possibility (and for all I know, ISU could just outplay or outcoach them, who knows with this year's MVFC).

However, I just don't think the crowd will be a determining factor. And I'm not trying to take a shot at the Indiana State crowd either. It takes a while to build back up the fanbase after the..... rather lean times, shall we say, that ISU has had the past few years.

We need a big crowd today. I hoping for 8,000 plus.
