Probably deserved. Will generate lots of publicity for that school. It is probably quite comparable to reaching a F4 in basketball to be quite honest. In terms of publicity I mean.

dunno about that comparison. only 4 teams reach the final four in a season, while 13+ teams host ESPN gameday during the football season. And just b/c they are there, doesn't mean they won't spend most of their time talking about BCS teams.

They'll get a nice amount of focus on their program and the coverage will be anchored in Fargo. It will amount to a 2 hour infomercial for everything NDSU. That's a pretty big deal. I mean c'mon we're talking about Fowler, Herbstreit, Howard, and Corso. And also Christian Ponder's hot wife. It could arguably be the biggest event in the history of their campus.

For sure it's the biggest event since Nickleback played the Fargodome last year. :roll:

ESPN will be back in Fargo saturday.

11 AM Fargodome ESPN NDSU football playoff's chase for the 3rd Natty Title!!

hope you all watch, its going to be loud and crazy especially with NDSU coach leaving.

Amazing. NDSU has the be the model program in just about all of college athletics with their success and fan support receiving unparalleled national media attention for an FCS school.
