That said, kind of fun to see them back there. I remember what a big deal 'Bear Week' was at UNI in the early 90s. Refreshing to see a non-Dakota up towards the top.
I think he stays at least a couple more years. One, he's being paid 14 million by Louisville over several seasons.Two , he's got half his family involved in Bear's football including a son, and son in law. Kinda think he wants to get the program to a high level, turn it over to son while it's winning and hope son can parlay that into a good opening in FBS. But to think you know what Petrino is thinking could prove foolhardy. I like to believe in redemption, but I don't bet the house on it.
