Yes! It's very much the typical feel good underdog story but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time. It's a challenge to make fake football look real and this movie does a better than average job. On a human level, Kurt Warner is as good as they come.

I'll see it eventually. But I'm really disappointed the UNI football games are portrayed in an outdoor stadium.

Kurt Warner was heavily involved with the making of the movie. I wonder if it was a budgetary issue or if the UNIDome wasn't available during the filming?

I'd definitely guess it was budgetary but I'm doubting they even considered using the UNI dome. Iowa isn't very film friendly and I can't imagine the cost of moving the entire production to CF, even for a few days of filming.

Only some of us were even going to notice

They were already filming in a dome for the St. Louis stuff. Just change the banners and camera angles and it would have worked. Oh well.
