Before the game, John explains to us all how badly KU will beat NDSU. After the game, he explains to us all how bad Kansas is.

I'd love to hear your commentary on the Jacksonville St win over Ole Miss as well.

In terms of football, Kansas is not remotely a have. They pretended for a couple of years, but they are hardly a have. In fact, during the recent conference realignment fiasco, Kansas, the big basketball power that they are, was just about orphaned. None of the real haves gave two cents about the University of Kansas. They still don't.

NDSU may be considered a very good 1-AA/FCS program someday, but they have yet to make the playoffs or finish in the top tier of their conference at that level.

As for the have/have not issue, let's compare the football budgets of the two schools... That's what I'm talking about.

The point I'm trying to make it that money isn't always everything in college sports. We see that more and more each year in basketball, and it's starting to prove true in football as well.

But I do agree that Kansas is going to really stink up the Big XII this year.

Is that what I originally said? Nope. I said NDSU had a shot.. I said it was a long, long shot. But that they had a shot. They took their shot and won. It is still considered an upset.

I will say this, I was wrong to pick Kansas ahead of Iowa State, while both suck, Kansas is worse.

I know nothing about Ol Miss and I don't think that I ever mentioned them.

There are only 3 words for Kansas's football team, Wimpy, Wimpy, Wimpy! They looked like a bunch of P***y's out there. Turner Gill, who was really talked up when hired, better get his ship in order. He had better start calling the plays instead of his coordinators. They did not even run Kale Pick, who is suppose to be really athletic.

They weren't ready for anything, and looked like they had only practiced 3 times together. Gill better find a quarterback he can live with too.

Ok time to shush you guys.

NDSU's defense flat out smashed these guys in the mouth, period, end of story.
IT was a great defensive effort.

Kansas' defense was really good, NDSU barely moved the ball. But I know Kansas will win 3-4 games this year, Baylor, New Mex state and someone else, probably ISU.

Better strap it on saturday purple kitty kats, cuz NDSU is bringing 2500-3000 fans and 1 confident defense!!

2500-3000 fans? I know you guys will bring a good group but I would be shocked if you brought that many. It will be interesting to see. Having followed UNI basketball for many years, I know what 2-3K fans in the UNI-Dome looks like.

And South Dakota beat Minnesota, James Madison beat VaTech. Like I keep saying, parity in college football has arrived.
