Leaving MSU for UNLV Offensive Coordinator position. Looks like he was in Springpatch for three seasons. Does this mean the Bears will head to the Southland Conference, or wait for a Conference USA invite?

Bobby Petrino is returning to the FBS ranks as the offensive coordinator at UNLV under new coach Barry Odom, sources tell ESPN. Petrino was head coach at Missouri State the last three seasons. He’s widely regarded as one of the top offensive minds/play-callers in the game.

Bears move quickly to name defensive coordinator Ryan Beard as the new HC; good thing is he was on staff that kicked saluki's ass 2 of last 3 years.

Were those two big wins you speak of in the National Playoffs? Oh that's right, SWMS hasn't won a game in the playoffs in 35 years! Hey, cheer up, you still have Dana Ford, and you have a real nice womens basketball team. Perhaps the MEAC will give the Bearz a call? LOL!

Saluki's talking trash is funny, this ain't the early 2000's ; what are you relevant in or even remotely competitive . You're not even the best SIU , lol. Let's see last year the Bears made postseason in every major sport except volleyball, the slauki's , well , they try really hard, sort of , well maybe not much. Oh still loving that MVC baseball tourney ; laughable you thought you might get a bid after the Bears kicked your ass in Springfield.

What is laughable is hearing Bears fans talk about going to another conference. As for the Salukis, they have 7 playoff wins since the Bears have had any if my research is correct. And if we want to talk way back to the 80’s (the last football playoff win I can find for MSU), the Salukis have an FCS National Championship that decade.

SIU fans know that their programs need to be better. The history is way better than the present. But for MSU, both the history and the present sucks. Never understood the arrogance out of your group.

No arrogance , i just find it laughable when Saluki fans try to dis any other Valley member . Get your own house in order , then maybe you can crow a little. Ancient history doesn't change the fact you suck at about everything right now .
