UNI and Drake would be the longest MVC trip - 464 and 447 respectively. That would be the middle of the pack in the Horizon

Shortest HL trip would be middle of the pack MVC.

Let me throw a wrench in here: what if the Board of Regents meeting about "intercollegiate sports" is to accept an invite from EITHER the MVC or the Horizon League, since the HL was in talks with prospective members as well?
I believe all MVC schools except for Drake and UNI would be closer to Murray than all Horizon League schools except Northern Ky.
Distance in straight line, as the bird flies, from campus to campus

UT-Martin OVC 36 MI
Austin Peay OVC 54 MI
SEMO OVC 82 MI
Tennessee State OVC 88 MI
SIU-C MVC 90 MI
Jacksonville State OVC 91 MI
Evansville MVC 101 MI
Tennessee Tech OVC 160 MI
SIU-E OVC 176 MI
Eastern Illinois OVC 200 MI
Missouir State MVC 203 MI
Eastern Kentucky OVC 235 MI
Illinois State MVC 270 MI
Belmont OVC 289 MI
Morehead State OVC 289 MI
Bradley MVC 290 MI
Valpo POTENTIAL 342 MI
Indiana State MVC 374 MI
Loyola MVC 374 MI
Drake MVC 447 MI
Northern Iowa MVC 464 MI
Better check Jacksonville State also. Actually you better start all over.

Lol. Apparently Loyola in Chicago and Indiana State in terre haute are equidistant from Murray state. Valpo, however is closer than both despite being in the middle of the two cities, which are about 200 miles apart. Smh...

Looks like the system is out of wack a little bit. Might not want to use the "Quote" system right now.

So with 11, travel partners for Women's Sports would have to go.

Missouri State would be alone
UNI/Drake
Valpo/Loyola
Bradley/Illinois State
Indiana State/Evansville
SIU/Murray

That's doable, my guess is they'd figure out how to make Missouri State part of some kind of triad with UNI and Drake...

Just as they got to item #4, "Intercollegiate Athletics", they took a break. They know people are watching and are eagerly awaiting this topic. What...they think they're a prime time drama series?
