I do believe that both Murray State (and Valpo) will be very competitive in the Valley but will go
through some growing pains at first. This is a tough league to win road games hence the nickname
"Valley of Death."

Mark Adams also compared Paris Lee to Lonzo Ball. So. There's that.

Seems Murray State usually plays some Valley teams. Last year they beat Illinois State at Murray, lost in overtime at Southern Illinois, and lost big at Evansville.

And lost the prior year @ ISUr. So the last three road games in the Valley Murray St lost.
That's my point...it is not going to be as easy for Murray or Valpo to win on the road in the Valley
as it has been in the Horizon and OVC!

Last year was also the worst season Murray state has had in 30yrs . we have routinely gone to Evansville and beat them. Routinely win at SIU. I think Murray has a winning record all time vs MVC teams.

That'll be another thing for Murray and Valpo to learn about. The Valley announcing team of Mitch Holthus and Mark Adams. Get ready for the occasional bizarre Mark Adams rant (his mandated scheduling idea he blurted mid-air during a game was pretty funny) and Mitch saying "Egyptian dogs" 295 times during a SIU game.

Also, get ready for Valley refs.

Mark Adams has done several Valpo games in the last few years, specific to ESPN and ASN. We actually like him, as he is a huge proponent of Valpo . We are well aware of MVC refs, as we tend to not like how many touch fouls seem to happen, any time we have an MVC crew.
