Who Takes the Shot

10 seconds left, your team is down by one. Who's taking the last shot for your team? Over the last two seasons a lot of these shot takers seem to have graduated (Morgan, Doyle, Balentine, Beane, Lee/McIntosh etc.) so with that in mind who ya got for your squad this year!

For the Ramblers part I think it has to be Donte Ingram. He was honestly our most consistent clutch player last season. He hit a buzzer beater against UIC to send it into overtime where he took over, and hit what probably should have been a game winner against UNI with around 5 seconds left in Cedar Falls (Morgan got to the line and we lost in OT). If not Ingram, I could see transfer Marques Townes on the drive; as well as both Richardson and Custer on kick out, catch and shoot situations for 3. But more often than not I think Ingram will be the go to guy late game.

Thanks for rubbing it in Racer....are you filling the void left by Shocker fans?

That was a great shot but is also most likely the #1 factor the Redbirds did not make the
NCAA Tournament. It's sad that a blown lead in the last minutes of your first game of the season
(on the road) could cancel out what turned out to be an awesome season for ISU.

It was MuState's only money win of the year. Enjoy the Valley...Ohio division!

Sorry man. First season in many that there haven't been many positives. Makes us cling to them when they appear.

You guys get another shot at us this season, but I think we will be better.

I will say though, that I am not pleased that ISUr didn't make the tournament. It was a pretty egregious snub in my opinion.

Hard to say for UNI, but I personally would feel most comfortable with Wyatt Lohaus being the one taking the shot in that situation this year.

Definitely Ingram. Maybe Townes or Richardson depending on the play/situation/whether or not Richardson is in a slump. If it's Custer, than Porter f'ed up drawing a play.

For MSU I'm not sure? Probably Alize because he's so versatile offensively. But he's also a below average FT shooter which makes an intentional foul a real possibility. Alize really improved his FT shooting over the last half of last season and hopefully continues that trend.
