Would love to see the Bison with Murray in the Valley. Just don’t think it’ll ever be seriously considered.

It's now 3 points with 40 seconds left. Drake wins 77-74. Holy Cow!

I think I might have been the only one that picked Drake to win. Wake Forest is awful and lost to two low major programs already (I think Liberty and GA Southern maybe) which is why I picked Drake.

Great call.

When I phone-checked the Drake score, they were down 10 in the 2nd half. That Niko Medved is something else. I think many here had good spidey-senses about him.

He doesn't have a lot to work with, but unlike the previous 2 Drake coaches, he knows how to coach. (not counting Rutter, who was an interim coach).

It's not locked, and it shouldn't ever be locked, because the two XDSU schools should have been invited several years ago. I wanted them added back when Creighton was still in the conference. Then I got slapped in the face with Loyola and now Valparaiso. (Valpo for the record should have been added when Creighton left and Murray State should have been added this time.) Regardless the MVC office needs to figure out how to get the two XDSU schools in. Not adding them will be something the MVC regrets down the road in my opinion.

The worst part about this is lakesbison won't leave now. As I mentioned in another thread, NDSU opened the season with an 85-66 loss to UC Santa Barbara, so the thinking this is just another Paul Lusk special is probably not far off.

Tough loss for the Braves, and not having our starting center make the trip is unacceptable. I'll be disappointed if we don't go 4-1.

Horrible loss for the Bears. Watching the game in person it was obvious the Bears were much more talented strictly from a player standpoint. But NDSU is very well coached. We aren't. We weren't hitting from three point range so they just packed it in and dared us to shoot from our there. No adjustments from our side except to get the ball to Alize and let him try to score against a double team.

Great individual game by Alize with 23 points and 20 rebounds.

Congrats to the Bison and again I hope they’re in the Valley. Couldn’t imagine living life this insecure. :D

Was surprised to see that MSU lost at home....was even more surprised by the score. Looks like MSU allowed NDSU to dictate tempo.
