MSU is now within 1 point of ISUr with 6:24 to go forcing an ISUr timeout. MSU seems to be scoring easier than ISUr but ISUr is forcing a lot of turnovers by being active in the passing lanes.

The Bears are up 1 at the under 4 timeout. This has been a great game of runs.

ISU hangs on to win 72-68. That was a great game between these two teams. Already excited to see the rematch of this game on the 30th.

That is exactly what I am and will be doing 8-)

I guess if the goal is to pick 50% correct, then you're on the right track!

5-3 so far 8-)

The birds did a great job getting inside this game from the start. Something that has been missing. Good thing too because they didn't hit a 3 in the second half. Fayne who is about a 50% free throw shoot was 7-8 from the line. ISU kept Alize Johnson in check after about the first 5 minutes of game. ISU was about 90% from the free throw line which probably won the game because MSU had a lot of fouls. The turnover and steal margin was huge in favor of ISU. MSU did a nice job putting back missed shots for baskets. They stopped hitting 3's in the second half too, though. I haven't checked the rebounding numbers but it seemed to be in favor of MSU. MSU had a huge margin in favor of them for blocks. The total percentage between the two teams from three was 31/32%. Brutal.

The steals and forced turnovers definitely helped keep you guys in the lead. Every time MSU looked to go on a run ISU took the ball and got a shot in the post. I would look for MSU to clean up their offensive possessions soon.

Rebounds were the turning point for MSU. At the half ISU was +1 on the boards. By the end of the game MSU was +13.

UNI is the only team with 0 wins and are only up by 3 at the half. I really thought this was the game they were going to show up and take a strong win at home.

To ISUR fans.....when was the last time Phil Fane missed only one free throw when taking more than 2? What was he today? 8 of 9 or 9 of 10?

Probably never lol he would up his scoring average by 4 points or so if he could become a 70% free throw shooter. I doubt he will ever be consistent at the line, im not a fan of his shooting mechanics, his shot has no arc on it usually which makes it tough on him

There is nothing entertaining about watching UNI play basketball.
