The Valley deserves better than one team in all three tournaments, but it is what it is.

From what I understand, a school has to pony up $50k to play in the CBI. I don't know how that would be beneficial, especially playing someone like South Carolina-Upstate.

As a Racer fan, I'm glad the season is over- not extending it to an oddball meaningless tournament - so we can look forward to 23-24.

The cost is $27,500, and this year there will be NIL funding of 40k distributed - 25k to winner, 10k to the runner-up and 2.5k to each semifinalist.

If you have a young team, it can be beneficial for you to play in these type of tournaments. Of course you better go and win a few games and make the finals if you do decide to play.

Not sure if you took my "shocking" as an insult. I was sincerely shocked I thoughted they would have been much higher(in the 60-80 range).
