How many in attendance?

It must have been a sell-out with two teams with such stellar records.

Koch has been good of late. The shadow of his brother looms large, but Jake is turning into his own player as he matures.

Congrats on the win Panthers!

Jake is really coming out of the funk he was in earlier this season. AJ has been constantly great. Johnny was finally knocking down shots.

Milwaukee was a tough team. They really played physically. Kaylon Williams is just as good as I remember him being as a freshman for Evansville. I was impressed by our team today. Great win over what could be the Horizon League champs.

That is a shame. Should have had a better crowd.

Should have had a better crowd based on how the team is playing, I agree. However, having been a long-time follower of UNI athletics and our fanbase, it is not surprising that it was low. Our football team had just gotten blasted out of the playoffs the night before so I wassn't expecting much except a down crowd.

But hey, at least we got a local high school to supply us with a pep band. Seriously.

What is capacity at McLeod? 7-8K? Jacobsen deserves more support than this, his teams always seem to overachieve and 4K for a good opponent is sad.

UNI has a history of drawing very few fans when playing an unfamiliar opponent.

I'm a firm believer that if our ****ing pep band can't play more than 10 games a year (which we are lucky to get out of them) they should not be allowed to go to the conference tournament or any post season play. It is embarassing.

So is the fan support behind pretty much all UNI athletics.

I've tried to defend it on the past on ValleyTalk, here, and a couple other places but I can't anymore. UNI has one of the best athletic departments in the MVC, MVFC, and out of pretty much any "mid-major" and there seems to be very little support from the "casual" fan.
