Aces at Bears (Sunday, Jan 15th)

The Bears are smarting over their loss on the road.

The Aces lost an opportunity to prove they were "for real" at home against Drake.

Bears have the edge due to talent, depth, and home court advantage. Bears will have to play poorly and Aces will have to shoot lights out to pull the upset.

If the Aces are ever going to win another game that they shouldn't (UNI was the first) then this might be the game, but I'm not going to bet any money on it. They shot their wad in three straight one possession losses, and it will be very difficult to get it back.

Should be an interesting game. Patterson should be a load for the Aces front line to handle at his size. The Bears should post him up early and often.

How the Bears defend Ryan will be key too. But they do have 3 pretty good athletes at about his size they can rotate on him: Weems, Pick, and Gulley.

23-16 MSU....Ryan w 2 fouls. UE missing point blank lay ups

Combination of MSU shooting well and UE not shooting well. Plus, Ryan out with 2 fouls and only down 27-20 with UE shooting 1 FT when coming back. 7:53 left. If they can keep it under 10 before half, UE will have a chance in the 2nd half.

Pickens and Ryan were really going at it before Ryan went out.
