Welp after scaring WSU doesn't look like we are getting an upset in the day session.

Loyola made a bunch of bone-headed plays down the stretch with shot clock violations.

Make no mistake - those 3 guys in stripes were not gonna let WSU lose.

If they wanted to make sure WSU won, they would not have called the phantom calls on FVV where he got all ball sending him to the bench.

Ron Baker is a MAN. Those last eight minutes, he said, "Hop on my back, guys, I got you!" What a phenomenal performance.

I only saw some of the last 2 minutes, but Loyola absolutely crumbled under the pressure. WSU turned up the D and LUC couldn't handle it.

NowI see why Loyola lost so many close games, sort of gave up at end and made lots of stupid plays. Baker showed them how a winner plays when things get tough

I couldn't find an occurrence here:
http://issuu.com/mvcsports/docs/2015-16 ... 5/31115652

But I do know that only one time in the 10-team era a play-in team has won a quarterfinal game, and that was Bradley in 1998, with a win against 2-seed Creighton. The Braves completed a 3-game sweep of the Jays in what was Dana's breakthrough year. In the Omaha game though, Buford got hurt early and didn't play the last 30 minutes IIRC. That was also only the first or second year of the 10-team setup.

It is pretty remarkable that in the nearly 20 years of the 10-team tournament and the relative strength of the league, it hasn't happened at least a few times. A lot of the tourney champions have come out of the 4-5 game though.

They've also played 2 games in the past 20 hours with only nine players.

Panthers had a nine point lead, but SIU cuts it to 29-28 at half.
