After tying it up at 57, CSU scored two baskets in the final 8 minutes.

Obi Church our starting 5 won't play tonight. Thankfully it's not too serious. He tweaked a knee. Big loss for tonight though.

Your Bears are going to have to do what the Ramblers did today and beat your MW foe without an important front court guy for your team.
Going to probably need MSU and InSt to pull out road victories for the MVC to win the challenge.

WELL Despite most of our partners' predictions on this board, The RAMBLERS stuffed the Aztecs !! Even with two of LUCs' mainstays out the RAMBLERS lineup, they once again beat a taller team--Well, heck who is smaller ?? So far, I believe we have the leading pct scorer in the Country. He went 11/12 today Along with Doyle leading the rest , LUC will surely be a factor come conference time !!
BUT the Valley is such a tough league--even in what is supposed to be a down year

Glad it's nothing serious, apparently Ingram is telling everyone he can play next week (training/coaching staff still says 4-6 weeks, but i love that he's pushing for sooner) so the Ramblers might have been luckier than initially expected.

I have a lot of faith in the Bears this year for whatever reason. Really looking forward to catching their game. While the valley likely isn't as strong as in the past I love seeing some other teams step up and move toward evening the playing field. Wichita is gonna Wichita; but if we can build a real battle 2-5 to challenge for the crown outside UNI I'll be pretty stoked. Best of luck Bears!

Sycamores and Bradley absolutely getting run out of the gyms in their games, neither game close.

Need Illinois State and Missouri State to pick up the slack in their games.

Bears down 6 to this point. Their post player is hurting us. Alize with two quick fouls and is sitting.

BIG, BIG, BIG positive for the Bears tonight has been the sighting of Tyler McCullough.

Played 8 first half minutes and provided some much needed interior defense.

Despite everyone's predictions, maybe we go 4-5 today? That's pretty good, especially considering there was one 2-point OT loss and four games were played at an altitude over 5000 feet. Plus, the top Mountain West team from the preseason poll lost (SDSU at Loyola) and the top MVC team won (WSU at CSU).

Both the MVC and MWC are down from last season, but the MVC only slightly and the MWC by quite a lot.
