I wasn't talking about the recruits being in the same ballpark just that the production balance is hurting individual POY candidates.

You could collectively suck, but have the same balance and not have a POY candidate as well.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I feel Paris Lee deserves more credit and more votes in this poll. He runs that Redbird team

Milton Doyle is the best player in the league overall for my money.

Doyle is playing great but if you are talking "best player" I would take Jeremy Morgan over him.

Doyle is a better athlete and better playmaker, IMO.

Doyle has only been good for a few games. He was a non-factor versus us. Consistency wins the POY. Show me consistency like FVV over the last few years and I will then vote for Milton Doyle.

Edit* I apologize I looked at his stats this season after posting and every game double digit scoring with good overall numbers.

My influence came from the one game I watched against ISUr. He is definitely a good POY candidate.

Since the ISU beat down at home we've seen a different Doyle. He's playing with a lot of fire and was a one man wrecking crew trying to claw back against WSU. His last 3 games.

UNI- 13 pts 8 rebounds 8 assists 2 steals
Bradley-35pts 11 rebounds 2 steals
WSU- 23 pts 7 rebounds 8 assists 2 steals

I'd be shocked if that kind of all around production continues, but it's a ton of fun to watch.

I won't argue that. I just think Morgan' s better all around with his rebounding ability and lock down defense.
Doyle is finally healthy now and showing what a great player he is. Hope that continues because
he has a had a few tough years at Loyola.
